The heart of Recruitable Diver comes from our founder, Brent, whose lifelong experience in the sport—and strong relationships with college coaches nationwide—shapes everything we do.
Meet Brent
Brent began diving at just 8 years old and quickly rose through the national junior ranks. By age 12, he qualified for JO Nationals at Stanford—an experience that sparked a lifelong connection to high-level collegiate diving. He went on to place 3rd at JO Nationals in both the 14–15 and 16–18 age groups, earning recognition as one of the top junior divers in the country.

His success led to recruitment from some of the most prestigious programs in the NCAA, including Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, the University of Texas, and Notre Dame. Brent ultimately chose Stanford, where he became a 2-time All-American while earning a Chemical Engineering degree.

After college, Brent continued to give back to the sport as a coach with Duke Dive Club, helping develop athletes across a wide range of ages and skill levels. His lifelong involvement in diving—as an athlete, mentor, and coach—has built deep relationships with college coaches nationwide and given him a unique understanding of what it takes to succeed in the recruiting process.
